Q: What is Ayurveda anyways? Is this something "woo-woo" or New- Agey?

Great question! Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old healing science that originated in India. Similar to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda takes into account the whole person- mind, body, and spirit. Ayurveda teaches you to understand your unique physical and mental makeup and how your diet and lifestyle choices affect the balance of your doshas. While Ayurveda (unlike conventional medicine) acknowledges the spiritual aspects of our healing journey, it doesn't ascribe to a specific religious or spiritual tradition. Think of Ayurveda as a beautiful, healing science that teaches you to tailor your diet, daily routines, and lifestyle habits to your unique and individual needs.

Q: Will I be required to purchase any supplemental products in order to use the Healing Journey Toolkit?

Nope! I would recommend grabbing a 3-ring binder or folder to keep your journal pages in. And of course, I recommend having some pretty, bright colored pens on hand to make your journaling ritual more fun, but nothing is required!
